Shruti Mehta is a dedicated professional currently researching the potential of Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) to invest in sport for sustainable development, collaborating with the UNESCO chair at the Institute of Technology, Tralee, Ireland. With a background in youth development at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Shruti recognizes the transformative power of sports in driving positive change. She led a project exploring how sports can catalyze socio-economic development in Afghanistan, a subject of ongoing research. Her academic achievements include a Master's in International Management from the University of Bath, UK, complemented by practical experience in the education sector, including teaching English in Turkey and the Himalayan Mountain Range in India. Beyond her professional pursuits, Shruti has a passion for table tennis, tennis, and is an avid triathlete.
