Shripriya Mahesh

Shripriya Mahesh is the Founding Partner at Spero Ventures, a venture capital firm she co-founded in January 2018. Spero Ventures focuses on investing in areas that enhance life, such as wellbeing, sustainability, and learning, work, and play.134 Before founding Spero Ventures, Mahesh was a Partner at Omidyar Network, where she led investments in emerging technology companies.23 She has also held various senior roles at eBay, including Vice President of Global Product Management and Strategy.23

In addition to her work at Spero Ventures, Mahesh serves on the boards of directors for eBay and Turo, and she is a trustee of the Sundance Institute.12 She has a diverse educational background with a B.A. in Economics from Stella Maris College, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an MFA in Film from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.23 Mahesh has also worked as a filmmaker, having directed short films and a feature-length film.13
