Dr. Shlomy Kattan is a seasoned impact investor, social entrepreneur, strategy consultant, executive, and Board member with over two decades of experience in leading organizations driving innovation and social impact.

As a Managing Director at Tyton Partners, a distinguished strategy consulting and investment banking firm in the global knowledge sector, Shlomy brings his expertise in advising investors, foundations, and nonprofit organizations on innovation, strategy, and partnership development, especially focusing on human equity.

Previously, Dr. Kattan played key roles at the XPRIZE Foundation, where he significantly contributed to the organization's growth and impact. He served as the Chief Advancement Officer, overseeing fundraising efforts and spearheading initiatives like the XPRIZE Racial Equity Alliance. Additionally, he led the Adult Literacy XPRIZE and managed the education and social impact practice area.

Before his time at XPRIZE, Shlomy founded and led Kudo Learning, a successful mission-driven educational technology startup. He also has a background in consulting, having worked at The Boston Consulting Group, advising Fortune 500 companies. His academic journey includes a PhD and MA in Education, as well as a BA in Italian Language and Literature, Legal Studies, and English Literature, all from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with High Honors and Distinction.
