Shiri Azenkot

Dr. Shiri Azenkot is an accomplished professional in the field of design, UX, and accessibility, with a strong focus on AI-powered accessibility, augmented and virtual reality, and inclusion of people with disabilities.
With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Washington, Dr. Azenkot has also completed her MS in Computer Science at the same institution and holds a BA in Computer Science from Pomona College.
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Cornell Tech, Dr. Azenkot has previously held the role of Assistant Professor at Cornell University and gained valuable industry experience through internships at Microsoft Research and Google.
Her extensive background also includes roles such as Computer Science Instructor at MEET - Middle East Education through Technology, PhD Candidate at the University of Washington, Intern at AT&T Labs--Research, and positions as a Software Engineer at Yahoo! and SugarSync.
