Shira Hoffman is a versatile writer with a rich background in the entertainment industry. She is a graduate of Muhlenberg College with a BFA in Theater/Dance and Creative Writing. Among her many accomplishments are her work experiences as a Writer's Assistant at The Queen Latifah Show, a TV Literary Assistant at Paradigm Talent Agency, and a Writer at ATTN: as well as her current role as a Television Writer at Freelance. Hoffman has honed her skills in Microsoft Word, theatre, film production, television, and Adobe Photoshop, and is a natural communicator with a deep understanding of media.
Before launching into her writing career, Hoffman studied Commedia dell'arte at Academia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy. The foundation in Italian theatre has influenced Hoffman's writing, giving her a richer understanding of plot development and character arc. Her love of theatre and the arts has also taken her to the Popponessett Inn in Cape Cod, where she worked as a server and bartender.
