Shira Frank

Shira Frank is the Executive Director of the Jewish LGBTQ Donor Network, a role she has held since February 2024. With over 20 years of experience at the intersection of money and power, she has a strong background in philanthropy and advocacy. Before her current position, she served as the Deputy Director for J Street, where she collaborated with the Obama Administration on Middle Eastern policy, including the Iran Nuclear Agreement.12

In addition to her role at the Jewish LGBTQ Donor Network, Shira is the founder and director of Maiden Labs, a non-profit research lab focused on digital currencies. This organization aims to ensure that emerging financial technologies are designed with equity in mind.1 She has also been an advisor to the MIT Digital Currency Initiative from 2020 to 2023, emphasizing her commitment to shaping the future of finance.1

Shira holds a Bachelor's degree in Government from Smith College and is proficient in both Spanish and Hebrew. In her personal life, she enjoys cycling, poetry, and has aspirations of becoming a flying trapeze artist.1
