Shira Cion

Shira Cion is the Executive and Artistic Director and Vocalist at Kitka, Inc.45 She has been immersed in the music of Bulgaria and its neighboring regions for 34 years.2 Cion hunted down Kitka Women's Vocal Ensemble in 1988.1 Since 1997, she has been a co-director of Kitka, along with Janet Kutulas and Juliana Graffagna.3 Prior to her role at Kitka, Cion was the Director of Operations at The Women's Philharmonic.45 She studied at the University of Hartford Hartt.5
