Shira Brettman Jaffe is a talented professional with a strong background in product management, payments technology, and business development within the financial and tech industries.

Currently, she plays a key role at Plaid, leading technical strategy for open finance and collaborating with financial institutions to ensure secure access to account data, thereby enabling fintech startups to integrate with the traditional financial system.

Prior to Plaid, Shira excelled in various roles such as managing payments integration and market assessment tools at Mealpal, overseeing payments for Showtime's streaming products, and leading Paypal Payouts & Mass Payments at PayPal, where she focused on product management, technical design, research, pricing, and global growth strategy.

Shira also has a wealth of experience in business development and product strategy at Braintree and Venmo, driving API product market launches, technical strategies, and overall growth in the mobile payments sector.

Before her tech ventures, Shira contributed to educational nonprofits and taught in public schools through Teach for America, displaying her commitment to education and community development.

A Harvard University graduate with honors, holding a joint concentration in History and Music, Shira furthered her education with a Master of Science in Teaching from the Teach for America Certification Program at Pace University.
