Shinji Kimura

Shinji Sandy Kimura is a highly-skilled and driven individual with an impressive corporate and IT background. He studied BS in Science and Engineering at Keio University where he honed his expertise. After completing his education, he went on to work for several top-tier companies, starting at Sony where he worked as an Accounting Analyst and Financial Controller. He then moved on to Rakuten as the Global Business Division and held several senior executive roles including Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Rakuten USA and Chief Business Officer (CBO) in Europe, Executive Officer, EVP of Growth Strategy & General Manager of CEO office at Rakuten USA, and Managing Director and COO at Rakuten Deutschland GmbH. He is also a former board member of Hivelocity.
