Shingi Mararike is a versatile and dedicated journalist with extensive experience in reporting and investigation. Mararike holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from the University of Warwick and attended Brampton Manor Academy Sixth Form.

Mararike's career started with the News Academy Summer School Graduate program at News UK, and from there, she worked as an Apprentice and Marketing Intern at various companies, including Fluidly and Portas. Mararike's writing and investigative potential quickly caught the attention of The Sunday Times, where she worked as an Editorial Assistant and later became a News Intern, Sport Intern, and News Reporter.

Mararike also worked as a News Reporter for The Times, The Boar, and the Newham Recorder at Archant. During her university days, Mararike was Editor in Chief and Sport Editor at The Boar, where she honed her writing and reporting skills.

Currently, Mararike is a general reporter at The Sunday Times, where she continues her dedication to quality journalism and reporting.
