Shimon Mazor

Shimon Mazor is a blockchain and FinTech engineer with over a decade of experience working with corporations, NGOs, non-profits, and startups. He has a deep understanding of technological innovations and product/program management in the world of financial markets, microfinance, economic development, community building, and grassroots initiatives. Mazor's expertise lies in building systems that bridge gaps between the traditional financial institutions and the potential of permissionless innovation within the blockchain space. He has studied Cinematography and Film/Video Production and Biology at Ahad Ha'am High School and has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science and Economics from Brandeis University.

Shimon Mazor joined the founding team of Solidus Labs, a group of former Goldman Sachs engineers, with the vision of a healthy blockchain ecosystem where innovators and regulators work together to benefit consumers, markets, economies, and societies. At Solidus Labs, Mazor is leading the development of a surveillance system and tools for crypto-assets. He is also a former Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs, a former Program Manager at Kenya Social Ventures, and has previously worked as a Help Desk Technician at Brandeis University, Library and Technology Services, a Housing Clinic Organizer at WATCH CDC, amongst other roles.

Mazor has a diverse skill set that includes software engineering, program management, and community building. He is passionate about blockchain technologies, FinTech, and economic development. Mazor is available for collaboration and would love to hear from anyone interested in working with him.
