Shidong Jia

Shidong Jia is the Founder and Global CEO of Predicine, a company specializing in precision medicine through innovative liquid biopsy technologies. He holds both an MD and a PhD, having completed his education at Harbin Medical University and Peking Union Medical College, followed by postdoctoral training at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School.

Before founding Predicine in 2015, Jia had a notable career in oncology research. He led oncology biomarker strategies and drug development at Genentech, where he notably identified p110beta as a drug target for PTEN-deficient tumors, which contributed to the clinical development of p110beta inhibitors. His prior experience also includes senior research roles at Novartis and Harvard University, focusing on translational and clinical cancer research.

Under his leadership, Predicine has developed a proprietary combination of cell-free DNA and RNA technologies for liquid biopsies, aimed at enhancing molecular diagnostics and supporting clinical trials globally.
