Sherri Mosley is a seasoned Economic Development Professional with more than 8 years of experience in Downtown Development.
She follows the 4 Point Main Street Approach developed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Sherri currently holds the position of Executive Director at the Downtown Kingsport Association (DKA), overseeing day-to-day operations and volunteer committees focused on the Main Street 4 Point Approach.
She collaborates closely with downtown merchants, organizing events and fundraisers to promote the business district's growth.
Prior to her current role, Sherri served as the Executive Director for London Downtown, Inc. in Kentucky, where she successfully secured $1.4 million in grants to enhance the downtown business district.
Sherri holds a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with a focus on Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations from East Tennessee State University, graduating with honors.
In her personal life, Sherri is married to Neil Mosley for 23 years and has two children. She relocated to Kingsport in 2008 from Kentucky.
Apart from her professional commitments, Sherri is actively engaged in community programs such as Move to Kingsport, Kitchen of Hope, and serves on the Senior Citizen Council and PEAK within the City of Kingsport.
Her interests include traveling, supporting UK football and basketball, exploring the bourbon trails in Kentucky, and attending horse races at Keeneland and Churchill Downs.
