As a former Broad Resident in Urban Education at The Broad Center for the Management of School Systems and an Instructor at North Carolina Central University, Sherman has actively contributed to the education sector.

His corporate experience includes positions at Target Corporation, Campbell Soup Company, PepsiCo/Tropicana, and Ford Motor Company, where he honed his skills in logistics, brand management, marketing, and product development.
