Sherman Wang

Sherman Wang is a Senior Engineering Manager at Zillow Group, where he leads the Economic Data & Product team. His role involves ensuring that economic data products are produced and published on time, making them accessible and interpretable for various stakeholders. He has been with Zillow since February 2021, contributing significantly to the company's data engineering efforts in the Greater Seattle Area.1

Prior to his current position, Wang held several roles at Microsoft, including:

• Principal Software Engineer Manager within the CSEO Finance Data Exchange Team, where he managed an engineering team focused on building a comprehensive big data platform.
• Principal Software Engineer Manager for the E+D M365 Insights team, where he led the development of a platform that processed approximately 4 billion events daily to generate insights on customer adoption of Microsoft products.1

Wang has extensive experience in data engineering and big data technologies, having worked on various projects that leverage tools such as Hadoop and Spark throughout his career at Microsoft.1
