Sheree Greer
Author, executive director of Kitchen Table Literary Arts, Inc, and Associate Professor at St. Petersburg College
Sheree L. Greer is a writer, teacher, and arts administrator based in Tampa, Florida.12 She is the founder and executive director of Kitchen Table Literary Arts, an organization that showcases and supports the work of BIPOC women and femme-identified nonbinary writers and poets.12 Greer established this organization in 2014.1
As an author, Greer has written two novels: "Let the Lover Be" (2014) and "A Return to Arms" (2016).1 She also has a short story collection titled "Once and Future Lovers".2 Her work has been published in various literary journals and magazines, and she has received notable recognition, including Pushcart Prize nominations.1
Greer holds an MFA from Columbia College Chicago and has been awarded several fellowships and grants, including being a VONA/VOICES alum, Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice grantee, Yaddo fellow, and Ragdale Artist House Rubin Fellow.1
In addition to her literary work, Greer teaches creative writing classes, works as an editor, and provides freelance business development consulting.2 She is also a founding member of the southern arts collective, The Rubber Bands, which curates annual arts exhibitions.12
