Shelby Zitelman

Shelby Zitelman has built a diverse 15-year career in the realms of start-up and non-profit management, currently collaborating with her father at Zitelman Partners, a company he initiated the year she was born.

With a rich skill set encompassing strategic planning, fundraising, investor relations, financial forecasting, and more, Shelby's experience extends to areas like budgeting, bookkeeping, and the development of administrative and operational processes. She also holds expertise in team management, marketing, and communications.

A graduate of the prestigious Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program, Shelby Zitelman was recognized in 2019 as part of the Philadelphia Business Journal's esteemed 40 Under 40 cohort.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School.

Shelby has held significant roles in various organizations, serving as the Sr. Vice President of Business Development at Zitelman Partners. She has also held positions such as President of the Board, Co-Founder, COO, Vice President, Co-Director, CEO, and more at organizations like Soom Foods, The Zitelman Group, and PresenTense. Additionally, she has contributed to roles at the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland and the Ben Franklin Technology Partners as an Emerald Stage2 Fund Analyst & Assistant Executive Director.
