Sheila Riley

Sheila M. Riley is a partner at Casas Riley & Simonian, LLP, specializing in corporate and general business transactions, business formations, mergers and acquisitions, employment law, intellectual property, and trade secret protection.

Her career began as an attorney at Coopers & Lybrand, a 'Big Eight' public accounting firm, fostering her collaborative approach in serving business clients.

Sheila's practice involves advising clients on various legal and business matters such as start-ups, financing, board issues, employment concerns, intellectual property, licensing agreements, and business sales.

With vast experience across different company sizes and structures, she has supported clients from inception through funding or sale, and beyond to their next ventures.

Sheila has been active in legal education, serving on the Board of Directors of the Santa Clara University Law School Alumni Association and teaching on Business Acquisitions at Santa Clara University Law School.

She also shares her expertise as a guest lecturer at De Anza and Foothill Colleges on business law topics.

She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.
