Sheila Panez is a culturally-sensitive, bilingual physician dedicated to serving underserved communities.
As the daughter of Peruvian immigrants, she has firsthand experience with healthcare disparities affecting immigrants, ethnic minorities, and low-income patients.
She aims to enable access to medical care through proactive involvement in preventative medicine education, community initiatives, and providing free and affordable healthcare services.
Sheila Panez holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, Irvine - College of Medicine, and has a strong academic background with a 3.9 GPA in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from California State University-Long Beach.
She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience at Claremont McKenna College and graduated from South High School with a 4.2 GPA.
She has a diverse organizational background, having served as a Medical Volunteer & Spanish Translator at Lestonnac Free Clinic, Instructor at Bricks 4 Kidz, Clinical Intern at Child Family Health International, Research Assistant at Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and Corps Member at Jumpstart.
