Shazib Haq
Doctor of Optometry Student at UC Berkeley School of Optometry
Shazib Haq is a third-year O.D. student at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry with a diverse background and a passion for photography.
He obtained a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis and was actively involved in various organizations and roles during his time there, including the California Aggie and the Shifa Community Clinic. His significant experience at Unitrans honed his leadership, problem-solving, and responsibility skills.
Prior to pursuing his optometry degree, Shazib worked as an optometric assistant and technician to gain a deeper understanding of the field. His career goal is to work in clinical research, teaching, and private practice settings concurrently to leverage his diverse experiences.
Shazib Haq is currently on track to graduate with his O.D. degree in May 2021.
