Shay Gingras

Shay Gingras is a dedicated individual currently pursuing a Master's in Public Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, specializing in Maternal and Child Health. With a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Macalester College, Shay has a strong academic background. Shay's education also includes studies in multiculturalism, globalization, and social change in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and International Relations and Affairs at Lafayette College.

Professionally, Shay Gingras serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Planned Parenthood North Central States, where they previously held roles such as Interim Bilingual Clinic Assistant Supervisor, Bilingual Clinic Assistant Mentor, and Patient Support Assistant. Shay's commitment to reproductive justice is evident through their various roles, including being a Bilingual EmpowerLine Women's Health Advocate at Whole Woman's Health, LLC, a Refugee and International Health Intern at the Minnesota Department of Health, and a Community and School Programs Facilitator at the American Youth Foundation.

Shay's career journey also includes experiences as a Programming Intern at YWCA Hartford Region, a Program Director at YMCA Camp Woodstock, and a former Program Director at Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota. Shay Gingras is passionate about expanding their knowledge and network within the realm of reproductive justice.
