    Shawn Yap is a talented Stockholm-based Singaporean artist, illustrator, game designer, and writer with a diverse portfolio. Currently employed at King/Activision Blizzard, Shawn has previously worked with renowned studios like LambdaMu Games, gumi Asia, and Singapore-MIT GAMBIT game labs.

    As a published comic book artist and author, Shawn has three books to his name: "Jack Doe: Anonymous" (2009), "Closets" (2010), and "Letters" (2013), available in both digital and print formats.

    With a rich professional background, Shawn has also collaborated on projects like providing cover colors for Marvel's Fantastic Four #642 (Jim Cheung variant), designing for Microsoft's exclusive "Internet Explorer T-shirt," and creating artwork for the debut album cover of Singaporean band King Kong Jane's "Waiting for Friday."

    Furthermore, Shawn has contributed to the gaming industry as a game artist for Singapore-MIT Gambit Game Labs, illustrating for Black Dove Games' board game "Dive! Diver! Die!" and creating illustrations for What's Up Newspaper in partnership with Team Singapore.

    Not limited to illustrations and comics, Shawn's creativity extends to game conceptualization, where he has been working on his card game project called "Crisis." Shawn's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communications from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and studies in Interactive Media Design and Animation at Temasek Polytechnic.

    His past roles include being a Lead Artist, Senior Game Artist, and Game Artist at King, Cover Colorist at Marvel Entertainment, and working as an artist for various prominent organizations like LambdaMu Games, gumi Asia Pte Ltd, and GAMBIT at Singapore-MIT GAMBIT Game Lab. Additionally, Shawn has freelanced for Ogilvy Singapore, catering to clients like Yahoo and IBM.
