Shawn Taylor
Shawn Taylor is a highly educated professional who has dedicated his career to working with at-risk youth and providing them with a path to success. With a Master's degree in Humanities from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Philosophy from John F. Kennedy University, Shawn brings both academic and practical knowledge to his work. He serves as the director of Gateway to College at Laney College, where he helps high school students who are at risk of dropping out of school to get back on track and achieve their goals. Prior to this role, Shawn was a lecturer at San Francisco State University and worked as a Probation Programs Supervisor at Seneca Family of Agencies, where he oversaw programs aimed at rehabilitating juvenile offenders. He also served as a YTS Care Coordinator at the same agency, where he provided counseling to young people who were struggling with behavioral and emotional issues. Shawn is passionate about helping young people reach their full potential and is committed to making a positive impact in his community.
