Shawn O'Neill

Shawn O'Neill is a professional with a diverse background in computer engineering and interaction design. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland and has also studied Interaction Design at Cooper U.

Throughout his career, Shawn has held various roles in web performance consultancy and digital product management. He is currently serving as the President and Web Performance Consultant at SpeedSense Web Performance. Previously, he worked as a Consultant in web performance at Clearly and held digital consultancy positions at Experion Wellness and MEC™.

Shawn's experience extends to leadership roles such as Director of Engineering at New District and Front-End Web Development Team Lead at MEC™. He has also excelled in software development positions, serving as a Senior Software Developer in e-commerce at MEC™ and Senior Software Engineer at Verafin.

In addition to his professional roles, Shawn has entrepreneurial experience, having co-founded companies like Common Ground and Funl. His early career involved internships and cooperative placements at tech companies like Logitech, Alcatel-Lucent, and Alcatel, where he gained valuable experience in software design and engineering.
