Shawn holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, as well as a background in Honors Economics, Econometrics, and Quantitative Economics from UC San Diego.

With an impressive career history, Shawn has served in various roles such as Of Counsel at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and General Counsel at Culture Biosciences, General Counsel and Vice President Legal at Curology, Associate General Counsel at Counsyl, Legal Counsel at Gilead Sciences, and Senior Associate at Fenwick & West.
