Shaun McCarthy

Shaun McCarthy is a highly accomplished research and program development specialist who has a proven track record of excellence in fostering partnerships and managing grants, data, websites, and social media strategies. He studied regional economics, social development, and sociology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he developed a strong sense of community engagement and civic responsibility. As a former initiative director of the Working Cities Lowell Initiative and senior program manager of the Greater Lowell Workforce Development Board, Shaun played a pivotal role in bridging the gap between various institutions and creating sustainable solutions to complex social and economic challenges. He also honed his grant writing and research skills at ANGKOR DANCE TROUPE, INC., the Greater Lowell Workforce Investment Board, and the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Currently serving as the business services manager at MassHire Lowell Career Center, Shaun remains committed to empowering individuals and communities through education, training, and career development services.
