Shaun Lysen

Shaun Lysen is a skilled statistician with a passion for quantitative analysis, statistical computing, and data visualization. He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from The Wharton School and a B.S. with Honors in Mathematical & Computational Sciences from Stanford University. Shaun has previously worked as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Google, where he applied his expertise in regression analysis, statistical learning, and machine learning to improve search quality. Currently, he works as a Statistician (Quantitative Marketing) in Google's Boulder, CO office. Shaun brings experience from the academic realm as a former lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania and graduate student/teaching assistant at The Wharton School.

Outside of work, Shaun also has interests in contributing to the R community, sports analytics, and working with large data sets. With his love for statistical learning methods and variable selection, Shaun is well-equipped to tackle new challenges and contribute to projects that involve data-driven decision making.
