Sharon Hoeck

Sharon Hoeck is a young professional with a strong academic background in politics, political theory, identity, and the Middle East.

She holds a Master's degree in International Affairs focusing on The Middle East and Identity Studies from American University School of International Service.

Sharon has a keen interest in immigrant and refugee populations and their interactions with host communities, particularly concerning political, social, and religious impacts on identity.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Politics (International Relations) from Messiah University, she has also studied Arabic language at both AMIDEAST and the University of Delaware.

Sharon Hoeck has gained valuable experience through various roles, including Development Communications Manager, Program Associate, and Office Manager at Telos Group.

Her professional journey includes positions such as Transaction Coordinator at The Legendary Team, Inc, Monitoring and Evaluation Student Advisor at ProInspire, and Congressional Liaison Intern at the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Prior to her current roles, Sharon served as a member of the support team at America by Bicycle, held leadership positions in the Student Government Association and Concert Choir at Messiah College, and worked as an Information & Communication Technology Research Analyst at Frost & Sullivan.

With a diverse set of experiences and a deep passion for facilitating dignity and security for all people groups in the Middle East, Sharon Hoeck is committed to exploring innovative solutions in the realm of international affairs and identity studies.
