Shariq Ashraf is a parallel entrepreneur, problem solver, and team player with a positive track record. He is currently the Director and Head of Strategy at Pearl Group, a family-owned business into various verticals, from cargo handling at the Ports, to Security Services, NVOCC, and other allied activities. He has helped drive growth in this sector by 3x over the past 6 years. Prior to this, he co-founded and served as the Co-Founder of TGL Co., one of the fastest-growing hot beverages company in India. At TGL Co., he successfully raised 2 rounds of funding, served over 2,00,000+ customers across 20 countries, and won multiple brand awards.

Shariq Ashraf has also worked as a Management Consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for 2 years, based in Melbourne, Australia. While at BCG, he worked with some of the world's largest insurance brokers, construction companies, news agencies and one of India's largest banks, in projects ranging from M&A due diligence, organizational redesign to portfolio optimization, and market entry strategies.

Prior to joining BCG, he worked in Hospitality – first setting up greenfield projects - hotels, restaurants, and lounge bars in India (Kolkata and Mumbai), and then working as a consultant mixologist in San Francisco, USA, assisting bars in curating signature cocktails. He has an MBA from Oxford University and graduated magna cum laude (with high honors) from the Singapore Management University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and double majors in Finance and Marketing.
