Shari Read

Shari Read is an accomplished leadership and management educator with a deep interest in human-centered approaches and future-oriented thinking. She has received multiple teaching awards and is an experienced executive coach in addition to being a faculty member at prestigious institutions such as Stanford and Australian National University. Shari has a PhD in psychology from Murdoch University and has studied clinical psychology, Buddhism and psychotherapy, and design thinking. Her research focuses on identity and social cognition, with a particular interest in experienced leaders and managers of transformation. Shari's approach to teaching involves creating experiences that help students develop metacognitive awareness and regulation, reflective judgment, and intellectual autonomy. She is especially interested in the human aspects of digital transformation and the leadership capabilities required to lead effectively through uncertainty and complexity.
