Sr Sales Executive

Built and managed the Sales and Account teams for this world-class digital marketing agency. Oversaw key account operations including proposal writing, pitches, contracting, budgeting, as well as risk-mitigation & crisis-management to ensure ongoing retention of accounts. Refocused Account practice around high-value services and recurring engagements, resulting in 2x margin growth and cementing Portland as a premium profit center.

- Led Sales and Account operations, managed PDX office/staff, growing company revenue from $2MM to nearly $18MM, employees from 6 to 130, and offices from 1 to 5.
- Won and grew 6 of 10 largest accounts (namely Nike, Ford, Subaru, Intel, W+K), earning client retention/longevity rate 3x the average.
- Established and expanded Nike account from first-ever engagement to $1-2MM AAR over 7 years leveraging successes and relationships to extend throughout similar functions, embedding teams on-site and securing Full Service/AOR contracts with three key business units.
- Led Ford executive leadership through a complex process of consensus building, stakeholder engagement, and organizational realignment to reset social strategy that reduced channels from nearly 30 to 6 and lifted engagement 85%.
- Navigated matrixed organizations to secure buy-in from diversity of teams spanning Marketing, Legal, and Tech to successfully redefine Nike Sustainability’s messaging platform as well as rebrand Nike By You (to NIKEiD)
- Managed Subaru’s digital brand platform account for 7 years, becoming primary digital partner and evolving services contracted from UX/UI to BI and rapid-prototyping.
- Cultivated and collaborated with key partnerships including Adobe, Google, Sprinklr, Amazong AWS, and Tableau to ensure our client's success.
- Led shift in Mod Op’s technical workflow to Agile/Scrum process to better align with clients’ process, and implemented knowledge sharing across projects and teams that resulted in faster deliveries, lower costs, and reduced risk.
