Shannon Broden, also known as Kreatya Shannon, is a graduate student at San Jose State University (SJSU) pursuing a Master's degree in Library and Information Science, with an expected graduation date in December 2024. She previously earned a Master's in Communications from California State University, Fullerton.1
At SJSU, Shannon serves as a Peer Mentor for the Special Study program and has been actively involved in various student organizations, including the American Library Association Student Chapter (ALASC), where she has held roles such as Events Assistant and Web Coordinator.23 She has also participated in the Women in Cybersecurity mentoring program from June 2020 to June 2023.2
