Shannon Behrens

Shannon Behrens is a Catholic and a dedicated father of eight, with a passion for open source technologies. He is a skilled programmer proficient in Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Scala, Go, and more.

Shannon studied BA in Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science at St. Mary's College of California and also furthered his education at Merced College.

With a rich and varied professional background, Shannon has held key positions at renowned organizations. He has served as an Architect at Udemy, Staff Software Engineer, and Staff Education Engineer at Twitter, Senior Developer Advocate at Google, and Senior Software Engineer at Twilio among many other notable roles.

Prior to his current roles, Shannon's experience includes working as a Software Architect at Fandor, Senior Software Engineer at 24 Hr.
