Shane Wood is a seasoned university educator with a career spanning over 10 years in Southern California.
With a background in Drama and Theatre, Shane has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of California, Irvine, a Master of Arts (MA) in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from San Diego State University, and another MA in English Language and Literature from La Sierra University.
He has excelled as an award-winning director and designer for various theatrical productions, including plays, musicals, and operas.
Shane Wood is recognized for his student leadership roles at different educational institutions, having held positions on campus and statewide Associations and Committees, notably at the University of California and other schools nationwide.
Drawing from his arts training and government administration expertise, Shane actively fosters connections across organizations, campuses, schools, and disciplines.
Currently, Shane Wood serves as a Professor of English at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts.
