Shane Molidor is a dynamic leader with an extensive background in the C-Suite positions of prominent cryptocurrency exchanges, trading desks, and investment firms in the US, China, and Singapore.

With a wealth of experience, Shane has successfully launched, expanded, and managed highly profitable ventures while overseeing global teams in areas such as technology, product development, sales, marketing, and finance.

His profound knowledge spans various critical areas including exchange & custodial infrastructure, market microstructure, risk management systems, Layer 1 & 2 protocols, decentralized finance, and global cryptocurrency regulatory frameworks.

Among his notable achievements are leading AscendEX to a valuation of approximately $500 million, spearheading a $50 million Series B funding round backed by prominent investors like Polychain Capital, Hack.VC, and Jump Crypto, and establishing and growing trading operations at FBG Capital, encompassing market making, OTC trading, and lending & borrowing services.

Shane Molidor was also the first non-technical hire at Gemini, a regulated US-based exchange and custodian, where he directed business development, institutional sales, customer services, and operational activities.

Education-wise, Shane pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government at Princeton University, and further studied Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Shane Molidor held various key roles in different organizations including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and Head of Business Development at AscendEX, Global Head of FBG One, and Director of Business Development at FBG Capital, and Business Development, Institutional Sales, and Client Services at Gemini.com. Prior to that, he also served as an Internal Strategy Consultant and Strategy & Transformation Consultant at IBM.
