Shane McDaniel

Shane McDaniel is an accomplished corporate finance professional with years of experience working with various clients. McDaniel is an investment banker, strategic advisor, and co-investor who has closely worked with executives, private equity firms, institutional investors, family offices, and entrepreneurs. With a focus on growth-oriented technology-enabled companies, McDaniel's primary role is to identify and execute strategic M&A transactions for clients from different industries and market sectors.

McDaniel holds an MBA in Strategic Management & Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A. in Economics & Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He started his career as a Senior Consultant in Corporate Finance Consulting at Arthur Andersen LLP - Chicago. He later became an Associate at Citigroup Capital Strategies and then Vice President at Billow Butler & Company. McDaniel also worked at Piper Jaffray as Vice President before becoming the Founding Partner of Marksman Venture Partners.

McDaniel also served as Managing Director at Metronome Partners LLC, Managing Director, Technology & Services Investment Banking at Raymond James Financial Inc., and Managing Partner at MVP Advisors, LLC. He is currently Managing Director Investment Banking at Mesirow Financial, where he builds relationships, make connections to investment opportunities, and leads the execution of strategic M&A transactions.
