Shanan Green
Project Manager at AAGE
Shanan Green is a prominent figure in the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE), where she currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer. Her involvement with AAGE began in 2005 when she joined the AAGE Committee, and she became a director in 2006. After a brief hiatus, she returned to the organization in 2008, taking on responsibilities that include managing research for AAGE’s annual surveys and planning significant events such as the annual conference.1
Before her tenure at AAGE, Shanan spent eight years at Macquarie Bank, where she held various roles including Head of Recruitment and led the Graduate Recruitment Team. She also contributed to IT recruitment and managed the MBA Scholarship Program during her time there. Shanan holds an Honours degree in Economics (Social Science) from the University of Sydney.1
In September 2022, she was appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer of AAGE, and by February 2023, she was officially named CEO.1
