Shana Tennant
Shana Tennant is a professional with an array of core strengths including honesty, integrity, open-mindedness, and a passion for learning. With a background in human resources, she possesses a strong understanding of emotional intelligence and positive psychology. Her skills extend to teaching, fostering problem-solving abilities, social interaction, and character building. In addition, Shana is well-versed in accounting, specializing in general and job-cost accounting. She excels in creating and delivering professional development effectively, mediating and advocating diverse personalities, and working with multimedia applications and new technologies. Shana's educational journey includes a Master's degree in Leadership in Reading from the University of Sioux Falls, a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Middle School from Black Hills State University, an Associate's degree in Applied Science in Accounting from Western Dakota Technical Institute, and postgraduate studies at Augustana College. Shana has a diverse professional background, having worked in various roles such as a REALTOR®, Real Estate Sales Agent at Keller Williams, Reading Teacher at Castleberry ISD, Special Education roles in different school districts, and experience in learning lab assistance, ticket sales, and office management.
