Shailesh Shilwant

Shailesh Shilwant is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of leadership experience in User Experience Design for web, mobile, and tablet apps. He has a strong passion for user experience and product design, having led global design teams encompassing interaction design, visual design, content, user research, and front-end development for both startups and large corporations. Currently, Shailesh is heading a Design studio in San Jose and India, along with providing advisory services to startups in the Bay Area. He is also a well-known presenter at various design conferences.

Shailesh's educational background includes a Certificate Program in Leading Growing Companies - Entrepreneurial Management from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, USA, a BFA in Advertising and Graphic Design from Abhinav Art School in Pune, India, and a Masters in Design with a focus on Visual Communication and Interaction Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

In his professional journey, Shailesh has held key positions in various organizations. He is the Co-founder, CEO, and Design Strategy lead at Kritii Design. Previously, he served as the President at the Foundation for Bright Future, Advisor at PrepSmartly, and was involved in product design roles at Guluck, Fancite Inc, Kno Inc, and eBay. His diverse roles include Sr. Director, Sr. Manager, Manager, and Lead positions in User Experience Design and Product Management.
