Shailee Adinolfi

Shailee Adinolfi is a seasoned international development professional who has worked for over 15 years in the intersection of finance, technology, and global development. She holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs and a Bachelor's in Business Administration, both from American University, and has completed Tech Change's Mobile Data Course.

Adinolfi has taken on leadership roles that encompassed business development, account management, marketing, and solution design. She was formerly the Director of Business Development at ConsenSys and Vice President of Account Management and Marketing at BanQu, a blockchain-based platform for identity. In these roles, Adinolfi developed projects in mobile banking, financial inclusion, and payments in emerging markets and the US.

Her professional record extends beyond the private sector. Adinolfi worked for five years at Chemonics International where she held roles such as Associate, Manager, and Director. At FHI 360, she worked on digital financial services as Technical Advisor and on Mobile Solutions Technical Assistance and Research/Malawi Mobile Money as Project Director.

Adinolfi has also been active in international organizations such as the ISSA-Intl Securities Services Association, where she co-chaired the CBDC and Stablecoin Working Group. She served on the steering committee of Catalyst: Inclusive Cashless Payment Partnership, and was a former board member of CODESPA, a social development organization.

Throughout her career, Adinolfi has blended her technological expertise with her commitment to international development, providing valuable solutions to complex and multifaceted global problems.
