Shahida Siddiqui, a dedicated research associate, is currently balancing her pursuit of a PhD in Consumer Cognitive Behavioural Science and Psychology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) with various impactful projects in the domain of consumer behavior and big data analysis in macroeconomics.
She serves as the coordinating head of the UpWaste Project, funded under the EU Horizon 2020 initiative, at the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL Deutsches Institut für Lebensmitteltechnik e.V.). Additionally, Shahida is actively involved in another EU Horizon 2020 project called Powerful, which aims to revolutionize management systems in sustainable supply chains.
Shahida Siddiqui's academic journey encompasses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in Dubai, followed by a Master of Science in Computational Mechanics from the University of Duisburg-Essen. Her strong educational background complements her research focus on consumer buying behavior and data analysis.
In terms of professional experience, Shahida has held roles such as a Research Associate and a Doctoral Student at DIL Deutsches Institut für Lebensmitteltechnik e.V. in addition to her previous tenure as an Associate Researcher at the same institute. She has also gained industrial exposure through roles like Mechanical Engineering Trainee at Gulf Stainless Steel Factory (GSSF) and internships at organizations like Al-Kulaib International Trading Co. W.L.L. and Hamim Al-Ahali.
