Shahan Khatchadourian, Ph.D. is a successful founder and former Co-founder, Principal Blockchain Protocol Engineer, and Researcher at PegaSys Protocol Engineering. He has extensive experience in software development, research, and blockchain engineering. Shahan earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Science (MSc) degrees in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. He has also worked as a Course Instructor at the University of Toronto, Technical Lead at Rouge Valley Health System, and Visiting Research Scientist at IBM.
Shahan has expertise in enterprise technology stacks including relational and graph databases, as well as blockchain paradigms such as cryptography and decentralization. He is passionate about bridging these two fields and developing next-generation, secure, and scalable enterprise-grade blockchain platforms. Shahan has also worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto, Business Analyst at AGF Mutual Funds, Software Developer at Bradon Technologies, Advoca, and Telum International Corporation.
