Severin Kibby is a dedicated user researcher with a profound interest in unraveling the narratives that shape individuals' lives. Transitioning from a background in clinical therapy to UX, his expertise lies in transforming stories into valuable data and actionable insights. With a foundation in psychological research and assessment, Severin values simplicity and clarity in communication, believing in the importance of understanding information at its core.

Having pursued Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University, supplemented by studies in French Language and History at Institut catholique de Paris, Severin brings a unique blend of skills and perspectives to his work in user research.

His professional journey includes roles such as UX Researcher at Facebook, UX Researcher and Designer at Fluke Corporation, and User Researcher at JumpStartCSR. He has also contributed to organizations like Chatham Electric, Inc., Alaska Department of Corrections, Anchorage Community Mental Health Services, AK Child & Family, Alaska Pacific University, and Bolera Palms School in various capacities, showcasing his versatility and adaptability across different domains.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Severin finds joy in athletic pursuits like disc golf and ping pong, demonstrating a well-rounded personality and a passion for activities that offer both mental and physical challenges.
