Seshan Rammohan

Seshan Rammohan is a seasoned executive with over 40 years of experience in leading public and private corporations, focusing on revenue growth, fiscal management, and customer service. He is currently the President Emeritus of the IIT Madras Foundation, a role he has held since January 2018. Prior to this, he was the Founding President, CEO, and Board Member of the IIT Madras Foundation from January 2015 to December 2017. This foundation is a fundraising platform aimed at supporting IIT Madras' global excellence in engineering education and research.1

Rammohan has also served as the Executive Director of TiE Silicon Valley for four years and the India Community Center in Milpitas, California. He has been involved with the IIT Alumni Association of USA as a Board Member and Treasurer and was the President of the IIT Madras Alumni Association of North America for two years.1

In addition to his roles in various organizations, Rammohan has held CFO positions at Xoriant Corporation, Caritor, and Biocompatibles Cardiovascular, Inc. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.1
