Sergio Ulloa
Condensed Matter Theorist
Sergio E. Ulloa is a Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Ohio University, where he has been working since September 1986.14 He specializes in theoretical condensed matter physics.13 Ulloa holds a Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo (1984) and a B.Sc. in Physics from the National University of Mexico - UNAM (1979).1
Dr. Ulloa is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, recognized for his contributions to the theory of transport and optical properties of low-dimensional semiconductor systems and complex molecules, as well as his efforts in organizing international physics events, particularly in Latin America.2 He is a member of the Nanoscale & Quantum Phenomena Institute (NQPI) at Ohio University.1
