Sergio Diez is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the automotive and mobility sector. He is passionate about promoting a paradigm shift in the mobility industry and has helped both startups and corporates embrace new technologies and business models. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree and an Executive MBA from the IE Business School, where he studied marketing. Sergio has lived, studied, and worked in several European cities, including Paris, Dublin, and Edinburgh, and is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.

Sergio's experience includes managing international engineering and R&D projects in the automotive sector, managing organizational change, and leading industrial teams in R&D, engineering, quality control, and production. He is a co-founder of a mobility venture builder and startup incubator, where he advises different startups and companies. Sergio has also served as the business development lead for new mobility services, including robotaxi, VTC, and car-sharing at a multinational automotive company.

Recently, Sergio founded MOVEN Mobility Ventures, where he serves as the Managing Director and Founder. This innovation hub supports more than 150 startups, 200 corporate, and 130 investors collaborating in the mobility sector in South Europe. Sergio's skills include disruptive models in mobility, venture building, open innovation, product development, team building and leadership, and connecting startups, investors, and corporates.
