Sergei Anikin is a seasoned technology industry professional with a rich background spanning over 25 years. He has held various executive roles such as CEO, CTO, board member, advisor, mentor, and angel investor in successful SaaS, banking, telecommunications, and fin-tech companies.

At Katana, Sergei serves as the Chairman of the Board, driving the strategic direction and governance of the smart manufacturing software company. Under his leadership, Katana has secured over $15 million in funding and acquired more than 1,000 customers globally.

Formerly, Sergei was the CEO of Tuum, a cloud-based financial platform for SMEs, where he spearheaded substantial growth by expanding the user base by 300% and securing a significant contract with a major bank. Additionally, his role as the CTO at Pipedrive, a prominent CRM software company, involved managing teams that significantly improved user retention rates and customer satisfaction scores through innovative web applications.

Sergei Anikin's educational background includes studying Data processing at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, complemented by studies at 26 secondary school. His extensive experience encompasses roles at renowned organizations like Microsoft, Skype, Swedbank, and more, where he held key positions in software development, engineering management, and architecture.
