Serge Fehr

Serge Fehr is a prominent figure in the field of information security and cryptology, serving as a scientific staff member in the Cryptology Group at CWI (Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica) and a (part-time) full professor at Leiden University. Additionally, he is associated with QuSoft, a Dutch research center focusing on quantum software. Serge's expertise lies in the mathematical underpinnings of information security and cryptology, with a keen interest in bridging theory and practice to develop highly secure systems. His current research emphasis includes quantum cryptography and multiparty computation. Serge holds a Ph.D. in Cryptography from the BRICS Int'l Ph.D School at the University of Aarhus, complemented by his MSc in Pure Mathematics from ETH Zurich, where he was also a Ph.D. student. Over the years, he has held various academic positions, including professorships at Leiden University, research roles at CWI, and academic engagements at Macquarie University and ETH Zurich.
