Serena Renner
Serena Renner is a skilled journalist, writer, and editor based in Vancouver, Canada. With her expertise in culture, social justice, and the environment, she has contributed to dozens of world-renowned publications such as National Geographic Traveler, Outside, and The Guardian. Serena has convoyed with early cannabis entrepreneurs in Colorado, interviewed inspiring artists, adventurers, and entrepreneurs, and investigated robots trying to save the Great Barrier Reef. She has also worked as an editor for more than ten years at several respected publications, including AFAR, Diablo, Mindfood, and Voyeur.
Serena is currently studying for her Master's in Journalism at The University of British Columbia, and she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development from UC San Diego. In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, she has also worked as an organizer for the Change that Works Campaign and as a Communications Intern at SEIU.
