Selman Ercan is a Computer Science graduate from Delft University of Technology with a passion for artificial intelligence, machine learning, data engineering, and natural language processing. Throughout his studies, Selman has held various positions as a part-time Software Developer for a range of web applications involving front-end and back-end development, unit testing, and collaboration.

During his Master's studies, Selman worked on various projects including predicting answering times on Stack Overflow, developing a negotiation agent for Artificial Intelligence Techniques, and applying machine learning techniques to detect rain in images for the IBM Grand Challenge. As part of the RoboTutor project, Selman worked on adding question-answering capabilities to the Nao robot.

In addition to his professional experience, Selman is also an active chess player, participating in national and regional team chess leagues and tournaments.
